~I can't take shocks like this no more~
I just got the biggest scare in a very long time!
I went to do a live update (thru the net) for my laptop just now. While installing it got jammed, but it still ask me to restart my comp anyway and so I rebooted it.
When windows started up, fuck, the colour and resolution were all screwed up! It was at the lowest and poorest resolution and I can't change it! The best part is...I can't do a system restore to revert it back to what it was previously!
I was starting to panic. Kept rebooting the comp. Tried to do another live update but it won't run!
I thought that was it. Time to call in an expert or visit the service center. Was giving up and thus managed to calm down a little. Was puzzled as to why the live update couldn't run....then I realised I didn't connect to the internet. So I connected, tried to run it and it work!
Managed to update properly this time and get it to install. Ahhhh....my colours and resolution are back! Phew.....
