~I'm a happy girl!~
Such a long time since I've last blog. Getting lazy. Haha! Last time used to be nothing to blog so I didn't blog lor. Now no excuse, just plain lazy......
Lots of things happened. Looking back....I think it's all good. Chinese horoscope said that it is a bad year for rats, but i beg to differ. Seems like I'm having a splendid year! Not that everything went the way I wanted it to go but "fan shi fa sheng bi you qi mu di, qi jie guo bi you li yu wo" (everything happen for a reason and purpose and it serves me).
I'm a different person than what I used to be, say like one year ago. My thinking changed. My attitude changed. Now I know what it's like to everyday improve 1%! I used to think, "How to improve 1%? So little change, can know meh?" But now I know. You don't have to look at yesterday. But look 1 week back. Do you see a change? Do you feel different? Well, now I know I do.
I have been working for 4 weeks liao. It's been fun. Quite enjoyable. Great environment! 5 more weeks before my temp contract ends. But......I'm gonna turn perm! Yea! Hehe! When I first heard that I'm gonna turn perm, seriously, I was a bit sian-ed. Haha! How could I be right, you're saying, when there's so many people looking for a job! I was sian-ed 'cos it seems like I'm gonna be stuck working for others! But after that, I know that I NEED a perm job first to at least get some form of allowances to pay for my basic expenses and savings before I can SOAR!!!
Wonder, what's the pay they are gonna give me. Haha! My HR manager said that she will try to fight for me for more pay. Haha! Hope she does! My workplace new Lab Manager will be coming in tomorrow! I'm excited! Wonder how is she like. Haha. Yes, my colleagues all dread for her coming 'cos it would mean one more boss, one more person to impress. But I'm really excited after hearing her achievements! I've got lots to learn from her!
I just hope she's approachable and not those dao dao, snobbish, arrogant kind!
Speaking of snobbish, I used to think my big boss, head of department, was like that. Because she gave a rather bad first impression la. Haha! But now I think she's actually really nice. Of couse, sometimes she must show she's the boss la. But now to me, she rather like a motherly figure. Haha! Hope to learn from her too!
