~Last post for the year!~
Had a sudden urge to blog....Haha!
I'm blogging from my office now....Sssshhhhh....kinda lazy to do anything, just wanna slack, it being a half-day and all.
Last day of 2007! Time for resolutions! Hahaha....nay, kidding...I'm not one who makes resolutions b'cos I know I don't keep to them anyway! =P
Looking back at 2007, it had been rather eventful...probably one of the most eventful year in my life. Ups and downs, good and bad...all worthwhile....
So roughly what I can recall:-
1) Started work end of last year.
Colleagues, good and bad. Lots of frustrations, as usual, which place doesn't have?! But at least, I have the companion of a couple of close ones, laughing, joking and gossiping with each other. The company is expanding...more and more colleagues. One just joined...so far seemed not too bad...let's see how she does.
2) Friends
Nata's getting married next year! So happy for her...who knew that she would be the first. Anyway, Luke, her fiancee, is good for her. Don't really know him much but can tell that he's a good, stable guy! Congratz mommie! ^^
3) Family
Well, this issue here is not really a happy one.
My cousin had been hospitalised and went for operations. Yes...there's the s...not one but two! She suddenly had backaches...it was so pain one day that she could not even get out of bed. Went to the docs, diagnose at muscle spasm...gave a jab and all but did not get better. Went for MRI scan and discovered a tumour on her spine. =( Went to operate on it...recovered well...but who's to know, they discovered more and operated on her again! Deng! And guess what, they now say there's still more! But had been given the advice not to operate anymore, too dangerous and most probably it will start to spread...and go fly to US and spend 50k to seek more advice.....-.-
Well, my auntie and uncle is letting her make her own decision. Think she doesn't wanna do anything about it....yet...Anyway, now she seems healthy and back to old bouncy self. Just pray and hope she doesn't get worse for me, will ya?
3) Maple
Probably will be the longest subject. Keke...be prepared!
Ok, so you're wondering how come I can talk so much about a game. Let's just say that the game just intrude into my life a way I never thought it would.
It all started in maple forum. Someone started a thread calling all working adults who plays in the D server to intro ourselves. So I thought, alright I'll leave a post. And soon, someone wanted to form a guild of adults...I always wanted to join an adult guild....less problems...no whiny little kids, so I was all in for the idea.
So the guild was formed in April. More joined in...we chatted and get to know each other. And soon, we had our first meet-up consisting of 7 people, all b'cos of our love for good food! lol. Never forget the black pepper at still road!
More and more joined our guild....and we had our 2nd meet-up for Dim Sum and then karaoke session, cafe cartel, sakura, lan shop zak sessions.
Hai...but even adult guild has its problems.
Went to Melbourne for hols and my bro's graduation, came back and dua zhong things happened. Things always happen whenever I MIA for maple. lol.
You see, in the guild, there is a couple of us who skype while we're mapling. Easier...no need type...talk can liao...easy to organise and convey message also. So naturally, we're closer to one another. Going out together more often too.
What exactly happened, no need to say bah...gist is some pple not happy with arrangements bo gong, later zuo luan, start making noise, start aiming some pple. So my friends, or the "skype gang" as called by others are not happy with the way they are treating guildmates, one by one left guild.
Me leh...not involve also kena involve...b'cos i'm part of the "skype gang". Anyway, i joined them...not just b'cos i'm labelled as part of them...but b'cos they are truly the reason i've enjoyed playing maple. They are the ones who really helped me, be it in-game or real life. And after they told me what happened, really feel that 好心被雷劈! Relax man...it's just a game!
Anyway, we've formed our own guild...still skyping...still meeting...still having fun. Just feel a little sorry for my lao da (ex-GM). Anyway, if the others still wanna be friends, I'm happy to be friends. If not, just too bad then. No fate, 没缘分！
Going for steamboat/new year party with the rest later! ^^
4) Adventures
Like I mention above, went to melbourne for hols. Bro planned everything and drove us everywhere with his gf. Keke...me just slack! lol
And....*deng deng deng deng*....I did something I wanted to do for quite some time. Did not really turn out the way I've planned...but still glad I did it actually.
So....what did I do????

Haha...k la...I got myself a tattoo!
Wanted a small one at my ankle actually...in the end, got a huge ass one that goes all the way round.
Was expecting a huge scolding from mum and dad. In the end, dad laughed...surprising reaction...but he did say not to do anymore. Mum....before I showed her....she laughed too...when she saw that it was so big...180 degrees changed....refused to talk to me for 2 days...but now is all well...think she's pretending that she can't see it.
Now....to show others.....and see all the reactions.....
It's almost time for me to knock off work!

~This rare moment~
Wow wow wow! It's been ages since I've stepped in here! Nice to see my happy skinned blog still around!
So what have I been busy with? The usual stuff, work, going out and mapling! lol. Yes, I'm still mapling.
He has given up trying to get me to quit mapling. Why? It's b'cos through maple, I've actually widen my social circle. Haha...yes, it's possible!
It all started with a thread in maplesea forum. It gathered a few adults in it and we started a guild together. Slowly slowly, more adults (ok, not really all adults but like 90%!) joined in and we've formed a big family.
Being adults, we got together in real life. Met each other, interacted and soon became rather close friends!
It's funny how sometimes people meet and can become instant friends.
I'm really glad to have met and known them. Life's really fun now with them!
