~I've survived!~
One working week gone! Yea!!! Ok ok, not quite, 'cos I got work tmr. Yes, I'm on a 5.5 days work week.
So far, I've not been doing much. Not qualified to do yet lahz. People's precious samples, cannot play play, might be their future child(ren) lehz. But past few days helping out more liao lahz, so not so bored in the lab liaoz.
What I do now is help them receive samples, stain slides (remind me of histo only) and misc stuff like clear up, update logbooks, replace used items, etc. But think tmr I'm helping out in one of the procedures! 'cos tmr they very busy and only got 2 of them, so "boss" tell them to let me do and they supervise. Say I do not so good oso never mind, 'cos all they need is a few good sperms! Haha!
The working experience is not too bad lahz! I had a welcome lunch on wed and yesterday was one of my colleague's (actually, I've not met her yet 'cos she's on maternity leave) b'day, so we went to her house to celebrate, at the same time, celebrate another colleague's b'day which is on tmr and to see the baby lorz!
And I've already been asked to take leave. So I dun have to work next sat and on 6 Dec! Haha! Lesser pay though. =( That's y it sucks to be paid by the hour! If only I am perm stuff! The best thing about working there as perm is that sometimes you get to take time-off without compromising your leaves and salary! Oh ya......but I forgot most of the time have to work OT (even on sunday) and you dun get extra pay.......so I guess is back to square one....so maybe pay by the hour better....'cos if I work extra or on sunday, I get OT pay!
